Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage bar operations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing orders and transactions accurately.
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and balance registers at the end of each shift.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending, mixology, or food service within fine dining, nightclub, or hospitality settings.
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and brewing processes.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively through strong time management skills.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry operations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Previous experience in bar management or hospitality industry roles is preferred but not required.
