The DoubleTree by Hilton Fairfield NJ is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Banquet Manager to lead and oversee all banquet and event operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading a dynamic team.
Position Summary
The Banquet Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all banquet and catering events, including weddings, corporate meetings, social functions, and special events. This role ensures the highest level of service, quality, and efficiency while working closely with the sales, culinary, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all banquet and event operations from setup to breakdown
- Lead, train, schedule, and supervise banquet staff
- Ensure events are executed according to BEOs and brand standards
- Collaborate with the Sales and Culinary teams to ensure seamless event execution
- Maintain excellent guest relations and promptly resolve any concerns
- Manage labor costs, inventory, and departmental expenses
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of banquet or event management experience (hotel experience preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of food & beverage service standards
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
