What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shuttle Driver/Bellperson position at DoubleTree by Hilton Cincinnati Airport?
DoubleTree Cincinnati Airport is looking for an excellent candidate to join our shuttle driver team!
Responsible for the safe and timely transportation of guests to and/or from the hotel, airport, area business, etc.
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for signing out all necessary keys and returning them upon completion of shift.
- Drives guests to and/or from the hotel, airport, area businesses, etc., while obeying all traffic laws.
- Removes and/or loads guests' luggage onto and off of the van.
- Responsible for all cleanliness and daily maintenance of the van. Reports to the Guest Services Supervisor all items in need of repair.
- Responsible for notifying the General Manager of all guest comments, whether positive or negative.
- Other Duties:
- Acts as a Bellperson by delivering requested items or transporting luggage to guest rooms.
- Fills in at the Front Desk during busy periods or when staffing is inadequate.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license appropriate to the vehicle operated. Must maintain a violation and accident free driving record.
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry luggage, boxes, and other objects weighing up to 70 pounds in weight. May on occasion be required to lift objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to frequently bend, reach, stoop, and push a bell cart throughout the hotel.
- Must have a friendly, helpful personality enabling one to handle guest relations pleasantly and effectively.
- Must have a basic knowledge of local area to facilitate guest needs such as giving directions, identifying local attractions, restaurants, etc.
- Must complete all brand required training in the prescribed time frame.
The shifts for this position are 5AM-1PM & 1PM-9PM.
