What are the responsibilities and job description for the Game Host position at DoubleTap KC?
Double Tap KC is the regions largest virtual reality arcade & bar, offering a premier guest experience from start to finish. As a game host you will be responsible for troubleshooting and investigating gaming or platform level issues in a fast paced environment, as well as helping guest throughout their gaming experience. If you know your way around a PC and enjoy gaming, this is the job for you (VR experience is a plus!). Please see below for basic responsibilities and qualifications. Responsibilities
- Deploy time to each headset once guest have been sat
- Respond to any "Call for help" pages by the customer
- Recommend game titles to guest as needed
- Troubleshoot/fix any hardware or software issues as they arise to ensure a fun gaming experience for our guest.
- Monitor all headsets to ensure smooth game play
- Analyze game play data for top trending or new titles that need to be added to the menu
- Clean and sanitize all headsets between reservations
- Ability to serve guests during reservation (Take food/drink orders)
Skills
- IT literacy and knowledge of basic PC functions/operation
- Networking knowledge is a plus
- Gaming enthusiast
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to look at computer screens for extended periods of time
- Serving experience
Pay
- $15-20/Hr
