Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service across a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial settings. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Your mechanical expertise and field service experience will drive customer satisfaction as you diagnose complex issues using schematics, HVAC design principles, and technical tools. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects involving boiler systems, central air unit, mini splits, water heaters, furnaces, all while maintaining property standards and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of HVAC equipment including air conditioning units, boilers and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, ductwork adjustments, brazing and repairs, and equipment upgrades.
- Conduct field service visits to customer sites for emergency repairs or scheduled maintenance with professionalism and efficiency.
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components and mechanical parts ensuring system integrity.
- Repair appliances related to HVAC systems including refrigeration units and other mechanical equipment while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs of inspections performed, repairs completed, parts used, and recommendations for future maintenance or upgrades.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong background in construction environments or property maintenance. ( will teach )
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) EPA license not needed but will not be able to work with refrigerant until license is acquired
- Familiarity with schematics interpretation and HVAC design principles is essential for accurate troubleshooting.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing plumbing systems, boiler operation, brazing techniques, and appliance repair is preferred
- Prior field service experience involving equipment repair in commercial or industrial settings is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a
driver vehicle is advantageous. - Additional skills such as mechanic experience or certification in refrigeration or HVAC/R systems will set candidates apart.
