Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of plumbing systems using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute plumbing tasks.
- Conduct pipe threading, welding, and assembly to ensure secure and efficient piping systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to HVAC systems and other plumbing components with mechanical knowledge.
- Assist with remodeling projects by applying carpentry skills and handyman experience to modify or upgrade existing plumbing infrastructure.
- Lift heavy materials safely while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or client premises.
- Document all work performed accurately, including detailed reports on repairs, installations, and inspections.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields with a solid understanding of plumbing systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics, and mechanical components relevant to plumbing operations.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various environments including construction sites.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for commercial driving when required.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical data.
- Previous experience in remodeling, assembly work, or handyman roles is a plus.
