Overview
Join our high-energy team at Double Edge Axe Throwing as a Front Desk Host—the face of our facility and the first impression every guest receives. This is not a basic front desk role. You will be the control center of the entire venue, managing guest flow, check-ins, and the overall experience from the moment people walk in.
We run a fast-paced, premium experience—especially on Friday and Saturday nights. We’re looking for someone who is organized, confident, and thrives under pressure. If you can stay sharp, keep things moving, and deliver great customer service while the building is full—you’ll do well here.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with energy and professionalism and guide them through the check-in process
- Manage bookings, waivers, and payments using our digital system (Sports Carnival)
- Maintain accurate headcounts and ensure all guests are properly checked in before sessions begin
- Control front desk operations and help manage the overall flow of the facility during busy hours
- Communicate clearly with axe coaches and bar staff to keep operations running smoothly
- Reset and clean lanes between groups to maintain a high-end, 5-star environment
- Answer phone calls, respond to questions, and assist guests with bookings or general inquiries
- Handle high-volume situations while staying organized and composed
What We’re Looking For
- Strong customer service skills and a positive, outgoing personality
- Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Solid computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Good typing skills (accuracy and speed matter for check-ins and bookings)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow structured processes
- Someone who takes ownership and doesn’t need constant supervision
- Weekend availability (Friday & Saturday evenings required)

- Experience in hospitality, events, or customer-facing roles
- Experience handling payments or booking systems
- Interest in growing into a larger role within the business over time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
