Security Officer - Guardhouse Access Control

We are looking for people to work a fixed Guardhouse Access Control (light duty) position in Kalamazoo. This position is GREAT for retirees, veterans, college students or just people looking for a low impact second job.

Kalamazoo Area:
Monday-Sunday: 6:00 pm to 4:00 am (varying days) - Guardhouse Access Control with moderate pace; multiple Officers needed

A Set Schedule may be assigned for this Site, but we are looking for personnel to work between 20 and 30 hours, more/less could be adjusted for per candidate, but we'd like a Team of three (3) for this location.

We are looking to fill openings immediately, and you can be interviewed and hired within the same week you apply!

Right now, we are growing faster then we're able to handle (turning down jobs weekly due to struggling with staff!), and we are looking for some energetic people to help us do so and are willing to put in the effort and work load, and to show us what you got! This posted position (Kalamazoo Guardhouse Access Control) is a for a single site position, BUT, if you are looking for additional hours or to do other things within the Company's market area, we have spots for that too! This additional duties/posting would mean working at short notice, working weird schedules, adjusting and being flexible on the fly pending Client and Company needs; it's a great time to get on board, regardless of your experience level in the field.

Below are the basic requirements we require, the rest we will train you for and work with you on.

Employment Requirements:

• Must have High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 18 years old minimum required
• Concealed Pistol License/NRA Course Certification and owned/approved fire arm required for armed positions
• Some college experience is a benefit, but not required
• Some security, safety, law enforcement, military experience is of benefit is required
• Must pass a Background Check, and have Must pass a Background Check, and have NO Misdemeanor's within the last 10 years, NO Felony's of any kind at any time
• Must possess a Driver's License and have a clear Drivers Record
• Must possess a computer and internet for company documentations and communications
• Posses a cell phone with text-messaging options for communications
• Posses reliable transportation
• Be able to work 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts, nights, weekends and holidays (restricted availability isn't a dis-qualifier for employment, but given our job field, flexibility is critical for all of us)

Unarmed Officers - $13.50 to $14.50

We do ask, however, to "not call" and inquire about employment. We use a 24/7/365 Dispatch Center to monitor Client Calls and act as our 'emergency 911 number', not for office calls. We monitor our email daily, so if it's submitted, it will be seen. Again, do not call.
