Double D Welding and Fabrication LLC is an ASME code vessel shop specializing in oil and gas manufacturing equipment. We are seeking an experienced ASME Welder to join our Oklahoma City/Noble team in the upcoming months to fabricate and weld code-compliant pressure vessels.
Core Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld ASME code pressure vessels, skids, compressors, and related components.
- Produce high-quality, code-compliant welds meeting strict production and quality requirements.
- Read and accurately interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and customer specifications.
- Collaborate closely with supervisors, inspectors, fitters, and fellow fabricators to meet shop production goals.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe, organized workspace in compliance with all safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated hands-on experience welding ASME code pressure vessels.
- Advanced proficiency in essential welding techniques (GMAW, SAW, FCAW, GTAW, SMAW) and corresponding industry codes and standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or GED, supplemented by 4–6 years of related fabrication experience.
- Successful completion of required weld tests prior to employment.
