Lawn Care Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking to build a team of dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialists, Drivers to join our local, small business. The ideal candidates will have a passion for landscaping and garden maintenance, with the ability to provide high-quality lawn care services. This role involves working outdoors, ensuring that residential and commercial properties maintain their aesthetic appeal through effective lawn and landscape management.

*This opportunity is currently limited to Forney, TX. However, we are looking to expand our customer base and may need additional workers in other locales soon. All applications welcome, but must be willing and able to drive to North Forney territory for most available jobs at this time.

Duties

• Partner with another Lawn Care Specialist to complete assigned properties provided on the specific days.
• Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to ensure well-maintained landscapes.
• Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through pruning, weeding, and fertilization.
• Assist in landscape maintenance projects such as planting new vegetation and installing hardscape features.
• Operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently, including mowers, blowers, and trimmers.
• Dig and prepare soil for planting as needed, ensuring proper depth and soil quality.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
• Cleaning tools that are owned by the company before putting back into storage.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required
• Personal auto insurance required to operate company vehicle

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift lawn equipment without assistance (60 lbs.).
• Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time.

Bonus Qualifications

• Previous experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with various landscaping techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in diverse weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Work Schedule

• Part-time.
• Work schedule depends on weather and job volume.

Pay

• Paid weekly.
• Lawn mowing work is paid per property.
• Landscaping projects are paid hourly based on experience.

Background check and Motor Vehicle Report are required to be completed before you will be allowed to work under the company.

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
