Job Summary
Doty Service Network is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Warehouse Coordinator to support our HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and installation operations. This role is responsible for keeping materials, equipment, and inventory organized and ready so our field teams can deliver great service with fewer delays, fewer return trips, and cleaner handoffs.
The Warehouse Coordinator reports to the Operations Manager and plays an important role in supporting sold work, installation readiness, warehouse organization, replenishment, and coordination with office and field teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, organize, label, stage, and track materials, equipment, and parts for upcoming jobs
- Support installation readiness by ordering and preparing equipment and materials when assigned from sold work/job tasks
- Manage stock replenishment: ordering, restocking shelves, and returning materials to vendors.
- Ensure staged materials are accurate, complete, and ready for pickup or loading
- Coordinate with operations, sales, dispatch, technicians, and installers to support clean job handoffs
- Support receiving and finance departments by receiving packing slips and invoice entry.
- Assist in tracking shortages, damaged items, backorders, and receiving issues
- Keep warehouse areas clean, safe, orderly, and easy to navigate
- Help reduce delays, return trips, and job interruptions by improving warehouse readiness and visibility
- Support continuous improvement of warehouse processes and material flow
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or service-company logistics experience preferred
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, or home services is strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable coordinating with multiple departments and field personnel
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn company systems
- Able to lift, move, and organize materials and equipment safely
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
