Role Overview
- We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle SCM Functional Consultant with deep expertise in both Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). This role requires a strong combination of solutioning, pre-sales, and delivery leadership.
- The ideal candidate will play a dual role in driving new business opportunities and leading successful SCM implementations, with the ability to design scalable solutions, develop proposals, and present to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales & Solutioning
- Engage with prospective clients to understand business processes and supply chain challenges
- Lead discovery workshops and requirement gathering sessions
- Architect end-to-end SCM solutions leveraging Oracle Fusion SCM and Oracle EBS
- Own and contribute to RFP/RFI responses, proposal development, and estimation
- Develop solution artifacts including process flows, functional designs, and value propositions
- Deliver executive presentations, demos, and solution walkthroughs to business stakeholders
- Partner with sales teams to drive pipeline growth and deal closures
Delivery & Implementation:
- Lead end-to-end implementation and rollout of Oracle SCM solutions across modules such as:
- Procurement (Purchasing, Sourcing, Supplier Management)
- Inventory Management
- Order Management
- Supply & Demand Planning
- Manufacturing / WIP
- Logistics / Shipping
- Drive Fusion Cloud implementations, EBS enhancements, and transformation programs
- Lead functional design, configuration, SIT/UAT cycles, and go-live support
- Ensure alignment with Oracle best practices and industry standards
- Manage risks, issues, and client escalations effectively
- Provide leadership and mentorship to functional teams
Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership
- Drive conversations with C-level executives and key decision-makers
- Lead governance meetings, steering committees, and executive updates
- Identify and drive upsell, cross-sell, and new engagement opportunities
Thought Leadership & Practice Development:
- Develop reusable solution accelerators and frameworks for Oracle SCM
- Stay current with Oracle Fusion SCM releases and innovations
- Contribute to internal capability building and knowledge sharing
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 13 years of Oracle SCM functional consulting experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in both:
- Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM
- Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) SCM
- Deep functional knowledge in modules such as:
- Procurement (PO, iProcurement, Sourcing)
- Inventory & Warehouse
- Order Management (OM)
- Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) / Planning Cloud
- Manufacturing (BOM, WIP)
- Proven experience in pre-sales, solutioning, and proposal creation
- Strong experience in EBS to Fusion Cloud migration/transformation programs
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead client workshops and executive-level discussions
- Experience working in global delivery and onsite-offshore models
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle certifications in Fusion SCM or EBS
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and related integrations
- Exposure to data migration tools and methodologies
- MBA or equivalent business qualification
- Experience working with North American clients
