Location: Mt. Sterling, IL
Department: Information Technology - B2B Integrations
Reports To: Department Manager
Pay Range: $16.50 - $18.50

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Job-shadow within the B2B Integrations team to deliver solutions and improve functionality
- Lead and own assigned project(s) within B2B Integrations
- Participate in a team project with other interns
- Participate in activities related to increasing efficiencies for Dot and its trading partners through electronic communications (EDI, OCR and flat-files)
- Problem-solve through research, collecting data, and analyzing to determine best processes and methods
- Review, update, and track a variety of reports
- Present project information at the culmination of the internship to communicate research, findings, analysis, and any recommendations
- Apply lean thinking to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
WORK STATEMENT
- Dot Foods is not currently hiring individuals for this position who now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Good standing as full-time student actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university
- Minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Creative & innovative thinking
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
- Degree work towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
- Effective, professional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Leadership experience
ROLE SPECIFICS
- Work a minimum of 350 hours during internship tenure
- Attend Dot specific business and personal development intern training events
- Potential for minimal overnight travel; ability to travel without restriction by all modes of transportation
