Key Responsibilities
- Produce and direct two YouTube episodes per week, typically filmed in one day (occasionally spanning two).
- Ensure timely release of two high-quality episodes each week, along with engaging social media cutdowns.
- Contribute to episodic ideation and development, dedicating at least two days per week to creative planning with an algorithm-savvy mindset.
- Lead 1–2 days of in-studio production weekly.
- Oversee post-production workflows, approvals, and final delivery, ensuring each episode is fully optimized for YouTube.
- This is an in-studio position on-site in Birmingham, Alabama, including time for pre-production, filming, and post-production.
- 3 years of experience as a YouTube Director/Producer, ideally in the food or lifestyle space.
- A deep understanding of the YouTube platform, including algorithm behavior, SEO, metadata, publishing strategies, and audience development.
- Proven track record of growing YouTube channels and creating high-performing video content.
- Strong background in social video and food media; familiarity with culinary language and on-camera food styling.
- Ability to translate performance insights into actionable content decisions.
- Passion for food, storytelling, and building community through compelling video.
