Position Summary:
DOTCOM is seeking an experienced Aerial Foreman with strong Fiber/Coax and BAU (Business As Usual) experience to lead field crews in the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecommunications networks. The ideal candidate has several years of telecom construction experience and a proven record of safe, high-quality leadership in the field.
Production Pay- will provide rates when interviewing
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead aerial construction crews performing coax and fiber installations, maintenance, and repairs
- Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure compliance with DOTCOM safety and quality standards
- Read and interpret construction prints, maps, and specifications
- Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members
- Operate and oversee the safe use of bucket trucks, lashers, strand equipment, and related tools
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work sites
Qualifications:
- 3 years of telecommunications experience, focusing on aerial construction (Coax and/or Fiber)
- 2 years of supervisory or foreman experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of coaxial systems, strand/lash work, pole transfers, and BAU maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and utility prints
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus)
- Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
