Salary Range: $83,914 - $125,871 annually, plus bonus opportunity
As a Senior Transportation Manager, you’ll lead a high-performing team, shaping how we operate today while building smarter, more efficient ways to serve our customers in the future.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of drivers and dispatch staff, building a strong, safety-first culture
- Drive change and lead your team through improvements that make our operation safer, more efficient, and more effective
- Partner with customers and internal teams to solve problems and deliver reliable, high-quality service
- Oversee daily transportation operations with a strong focus on cost management, efficiency, and accountability
- Own key performance metrics—using data to guide decisions, improve results, and manage costs effectively
- Collaborate with distribution center leadership to keep freight moving safely, smoothly, and on time while continuously improving how we operate
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent Dot Foods experience
- Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Systems skills, experience in using Microsoft Office programs/ applications
- Ability to function in a multi-task fast paced, changing priority environment
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
- Prior management experience
- Prior transportation experience
- Ability to influence and lead people.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate in one-on-one and group settings
ROLE SPECIFICS
- Schedule – Monday-Friday with occasional nights and weekends for various events, meetings/projects.
- Supervision – Assigned drivers & dispatch staff.
- Travel – Approx. 1-3 nights per month. Terminals and Customer visits, Conferences and Managers Meetings. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train / vendor calls, training or meetings.
