Are you a product leader who thrives on transforming external customer insights into impactful digital solutions? DOT Compliance Group is seeking a Strategic Product Manager to lead the development of B2B software products that simplify DOT compliance for transportation companies. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in external customer journey mapping, feature and epic development, and a strong strategic listening mindset.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the product roadmap, driving epic and feature development that aligns with external customer needs and business goals.
  • Develop and maintain customer journey maps focused on B2B users to identify pain points and opportunities for innovation.
  • Lead customer listening programs (surveys, interviews, usage analytics) to inform product strategy and validate decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, marketing, and compliance teams to deliver market-ready solutions.
  • Translate customer insights into clear product requirements, user stories, and functional specs.
  • Stay ahead of DOT and FMCSA regulations to ensure product relevance and compliance.

What You Bring

  • 5 years of experience in product management, ideally in B2B SaaS, compliance, or transportation technology.
  • Proven success in epic and feature development, backlog management, and agile methodologies.
  • Strong background in external customer journey mapping, persona development, and CX strategy.
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Aha!, Figma, Qualtrics, Google Analytics, or similar.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance technical depth and business impact.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on customer empathy and market-driven thinking.

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations or compliance services.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors or tech partners.
  • Background in transportation, logistics, or regulatory technology.

Eligibility Requirement

This is a full-time, U.S.-based position. Candidates must reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area and be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
