Our Plumbing Service Technicians are customer-focused professionals who excel in diagnosing and solving residential plumbing problems. They are experts in all aspects of plumbing. Woodfin’s accomplished team provides a wide range of services, including repairs, tankless water heater installations, solar water heating, and indirect water heaters.

What You’ll Do:

• Complete residential plumbing services including water heater replacements, water heater installations, water service piping, home plumbing repair, bathroom remodels, kitchen remodels, sewer repairs, and sewer replacements.
• Fit various household appliances.
• Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Prepare cost estimates.
• Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks).
• Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc.
• Handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.).

What You’ll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completed or are currently enrolled in Trade School is preferred.
• Currently own the appropriate hand and power tools required for the trade.
• Previous residential service plumbing experience is required.
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces.
• Ability to braze & solder.
• Unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Aptitude for plumbing trade.
• Safety and customer service oriented.
• Fluent English-speaking and writing skills.
• Driving Requirements
  • Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license.
  • Must have positive points on state driving record.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age unless company approval is granted.
  • Must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving conviction in the last five years.
  • All driving records are run as part of our pre-employment process and reviewed at the discretion of the Safety Team.
• Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Because our technicians come to us with varying levels of experience, we chose to post a pay range that is inclusive of the different experience levels and growth opportunities within the role.
