We’re looking for a Full Time Key Holder for our new location in Queens Center Mall, with a strong background in retail management, boutique selling, and clienteling to help lead our in-store team and elevate the Dossier brand experience. This is more than just a sales role—it’s a chance to guide customers on a sensory journey, connect through storytelling, and help grow a disruptive brand from the ground up.
What You’ll Do:
Client Experience & Sales Leadership
- Deliver personalized fragrance consultations, helping customers explore scent profiles, layering techniques, and find their signature scent.
- Lead by example on the sales floor—engaging clients, meeting sales goals, and fostering a culture of genuine connection.
- Build long-lasting relationships with customers through consistent outreach and clienteling strategies.
Boutique Operations & Team Support
- Execute boutique opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security protocols.
- Ensure the boutique is always visually stunning—maintaining merchandising standards, cleanliness, and stock levels.
- Support inventory management, restocking, and back-of-house organization with precision.
- Serve as the acting leader on the floor when the Boutique or Assistant Manager is not present.
Brand Storytelling & Event Support
- Stay informed on fragrance trends and Dossier’s evolving product collections, sharing this knowledge with both customers and teammates.
- Support in-store events, influencer activations, and new launch celebrations that bring our brand to life.
- Represent the Dossier brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and deep product knowledge.
Problem Solving & Adaptability
- Resolve customer concerns with empathy, professionalism, and quick thinking.
- Embrace the ever-changing retail environment—pivoting with grace and a solutions-focused mindset.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with visual, marketing, and operations teams to support store success.
What You Bring:
- 2 years of retail experience, ideally in a boutique, beauty, or luxury setting
- A strong track record of selling, clienteling, and consistently achieving performance goals
- Passion for fragrance and a desire to share scent stories with others
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to step up, coach peers, and lead by example
- Polished communication skills and a genuine love for connecting with people
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
