Dose Coffee is hiring a barista to join our team for the season.
We are a very busy, fast-paced coffee shop serving coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, açaí bowls, and grab-and-go items. This is not a slow coffee counter position — we need someone who can move quickly, stay organized, and keep a great attitude during high-volume rushes.
Barista experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
Closing shift experience is strongly preferred. This role requires someone who can finish the day strong, clean thoroughly, restock properly, and leave the shop set up for success the next morning.
Responsibilities include:
- Making espresso drinks, iced drinks, smoothies, and bowls
- Taking orders and helping customers with a friendly, positive attitude
- Keeping the bar, prep areas, and customer space clean and stocked
- Following recipes and systems for consistency
- Handling busy rushes with urgency and focus
- Completing opening, closing, and side work tasks
- Restocking and resetting the shop for the next shift or next day
- Working well with managers and teammates
Ideal candidate:
- Previous barista or coffee shop experience preferred
- Closing shift experience preferred
- Comfortable in a very busy, fast-paced environment
- Reliable and on time
- Able to multitask without getting overwhelmed
- Clean, organized, and detail-oriented
- Friendly with customers and respectful to coworkers
- Willing to learn, take feedback, and follow systems
- Available for seasonal hours, including weekends
