Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Site Administrator and the Coordinator, Career and Alternative Education Department, serves as the liaison between the Merced County Office of Education (MCOE) and the school district personnel in the operation of the on-campus program. Duties include the recruitment, assessment, enrollment and counseling of high school students into Regional Occupation Program (ROP) classes. Performs other duties related to this function as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Driver's License Education equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade plus the equivalent of 60 units of college coursework in the areas of social services, education, behavioral science, vocations, or closely related field. Three years of experience in an educational, social service, vocational training, or personnel services agency. Desirable Qualifications; BA/BS degree in the areas of social services, education, behavioral science, vocations, or closely related field. Experience in public or vocational school counseling, personnel, or social services. Experience in providing direct services to students. Bilingual in English and the language of the population being served.
