Glades at Gulf View Apartments an apartment community in Port Richey, FL is seeking a full-time Leasing Consultant.
OVERVIEW OF POSITION
The primary responsibility of the Leasing Consultant position is to handle all aspects of leasing apartments, including but not limited to touring the amenities and apartments, closing the sale, processing applications, preparing lease paperwork and move-ins. In this role, the individual should maintain a positive rapport with prospects and residents. The candidate should display a positive attitude and be willing to assist in all aspects of leasing, marketing, and customer service.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet prospective residents in person and by telephone, show apartments and amenities.
- Assist with marketing efforts.
- Process applications and move in paperwork.
- Complete market surveys
- Follow up with prospects and residents
- Inspect apartments for move-in availability.
- Assist with collection of rental payments.
- Ensures the office, clubhouse, models, fitness center, public bathrooms are in perfect condition. Assists with spot cleaning, vacuuming and dusts as needed.
- Helps inspect property when on the grounds, picks up litter and reports any service needs to maintenance staff.
- Assist in monitoring renewals.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITIES
- Ability to write and communicate professionally
- General computer skills are required
- MRI experience preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to resolve resident concerns while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Frequently required to climb stairs, walk and drive a golf cart while touring prospective residents throughout the community.
- Frequently use office equipment, telephone, computer, keyboard, mouse, and a two-way radio.
