About the Position
Dorothy’s Playhouse is looking for a reliable, energetic, and team-oriented Playhouse Associate to join our team!
This is a part-time evening/weekend position, averaging approximately 20 hours per week, although hours are not guaranteed and may vary based on business needs.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with families, takes pride in keeping things clean and organized, and is the type of person who sees what needs to be done and jumps in to help.
Schedule
We are looking for availability that includes:
- Wednesdays: 4:00–8:00 PM
- One additional weekday evening, as needed
- Saturdays: 1:00–7:00 PM
- Sundays: 1:00–7:00 PM
Some flexibility in scheduling is appreciated.
Responsibilities
As a Playhouse Associate, you will help create a fun, welcoming, and clean environment for our families. Responsibilities include:
- Greeting and checking in customers
- Assisting families with questions and providing friendly customer service
- Using our POS system to check customers in and process purchases
- Entering café orders accurately
- Preparing drinks and café items after training
- Monitoring and maintaining the play floor
- Completing a play floor pickup approximately every 2 hours
- Restocking supplies and keeping common areas organized
- Completing evening deep-cleaning duties
- Helping with closing responsibilities
- Working as a team and jumping in wherever help is needed
- Going above and beyond to create a great experience for our customers
No café or drink-making experience is required! We will train you on our drinks and café procedures.
