What are the responsibilities and job description for the Artisan Bread Bench Worker - Day Shifts position at Dorothy Lane Market?

Our Artisan Bread bakers use knowledge, senses, and instincts to craft each exquisite product. Whether you are a seasoned professional or someone looking to sharpen your culinary skills, this exciting department will provide lots of opportunity to flourish.
The Artisan Bread Bench Worker is responsible for hand shaping hearth oven breads, pan breads, pretzels, and rolls for all of the DLM stores. This is a highly skilled position, and we are willing to train the right person. Shifts run 5:00am to 3:30pm, with three days off per week.
Qualifications:
- A desire to make folks happy by providing Honestly Better® Food and Service.
- Food safety expertise.
- A willingness to learn about and taste great food.
- A willingness to practice the DLM Team Values: Be Honest, Safe, Helpful, and Hard-Working
- Punctuality is a must.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- 18 years or older is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Must have holiday and weekend availability.
