Production Supervisor II

Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a Production Supervisor based in Reamstown, PA. The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, coaching and supervising production activities and employees in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards to achieve established production schedules and desired quality levels.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $85,000 - $95,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

What you will do

• Achieve performance goals related to safety, quality, cost, and delivery
• Support, communicate and manage compliance with all safety programs, policies and procedures in area of responsibility
• Maintain cross training matrix that reflects competencies for each employee in department
• Organize and manage work to utilize available skills, knowledge, experience, labor hours, machines and tooling to optimize cost, quality and workmanship
• Provide regular training, instruction, and guidance to maximize effectiveness in all areas of responsibility

What we require

• High School Diploma and/or GED Certification
• 5 years of experience in a production environment, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical drawings.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to read a tape measurer and experience with various hand tools (manual and powered)
