Production Manager

Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a Production Manager for our Reamstown, PA facility. This role is responsible for directing and coordinating the Interior Glass Systems (IGS) production department, overseeing the processing of materials and the manufacturing of products within an industrial environment.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $97,000 - $118,000 plus a generous Short Term Incentive Bonus (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) What you will do

• Direct the finishing, handling and shipping of all IGS products ensuring costs remain economical while meeting required quality and performance standards
• Review production orders and schedules to determine product types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates in order to plan department operations
• Assist in maintaining personnel management programs by explaining and enforcing company policies related to safety, employee relations, and production goals
• Work closely with Human Resources to manage employee relations issues, escalating issues that require additional support to the Plant Manager where appropriate
• Review production and operating reports and resolve issues with operational, manufacturing, and maintenance to ensure minimum costs and prevent production/delivery delays

What we require

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related program or a certificate of engineering degree or five (5) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years’ experience in production management with management training
Previous experience leading teams and managing individual performance

• Lean and/or Six Sigma Certification
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• ERP Experience or SAP in a manufacturing environment
Strong track record of procedural compliance, timeliness, and promoting workplace safety
