What You Will Do
- Direct the Revolving Door product finalization, material handling, and shipping of all manufactured products at the most economical costs consistent with prescribed quality and performance standards
- Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations
- Assist in maintaining the personnel management programs by enforcing and explaining company policies as they relate to safety, human relations, and production goals
- Work closely with HR to manage employee relations issues and escalate to Plant Manager for further resolution, where appropriate
- Review production and operating reports and resolve operational manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays
- Manage daily KPI’s
- 4 year college or university program certificate or engineering degree; or 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years’ experience in production management with management training
- Extensive understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes in custom production setting
- Lean and/or Six Sigma Certification
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- ERP Experience or SAP in a manufacturing environment
