dormakaba is seeking a remote Field Service Engineer based in the US. The Field Service Engineer I is responsible for visiting various job sites throughout North America troubleshooting issues, installing electromechanical devices that are crucial to the security of airports and other critical infrastructure facilities and will ensure complete delivery of goods and services in a timely manner.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $55,000 - $70,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) What You Will Do
- Coordinate and schedule site visits and other tasks
- Install and service dormakaba electromechanical devices, including afterhours emergency services
- Project a customer service image through competent service procedures, professional personal presentation, and communication with all customers
- Write detailed technical reports and maintain accurate records for each job site
- Train others to use necessary equipment to perform job and ensures proper adherence to safety requirements at facilities
- Maintain tools and ensure equipment is in good working order
- Ability to travel up to 90% of the time and able to internationally travel as needed
- High School diploma
- The ability to gain a security clearance at critical infrastructure and government facilities
- Mechanical Skills with the ability to read complex schematics and wiring
- Ability to lift 60 pounds.
- Associates degree
