Salon Receptionist

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Duties

• Greet clients warmly as they enter the salon and provide them with information about services offered.
• Manage appointment scheduling through phone calls and in-person requests, ensuring efficient use of time slots.
• Handle POS transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash drawers.
• Assist with product demonstrations and provide recommendations based on client needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring that all promotional materials are up-to-date.
• Support retail sales by promoting products and assisting clients with their selections.
• Communicate effectively with stylists and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Supervise junior staff as needed, providing guidance on customer service best practices.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Proficiency in retail math for managing transactions and inventory.
• Experience with POS systems for processing payments efficiently.
• Ability to conduct product demos effectively to enhance client experience.
