CASHIER/BAKERY COUNTER SALES

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier/Bakery Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the last point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while assisting with their purchases. Your ability to communicate effectively and handle transactions accurately will be key to ensuring a positive experience for our clientele.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
• Process sales transactions efficiently using a scanning POS system or other cash handling methods.
• Maintain an organized and clean counter area to enhance the customer experience.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on products based on customer needs.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately while adhering to company policies.
• Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Skills

• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Experience in the food industry, restaurant, kitchen, or grocery store settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management.
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
