We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and organizational support to attorneys in a fast-paced litigation practice. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
· Prepare, revise, and format documents, including proofreading, formulating tables, and manipulating spreadsheets
· File documents in state and federal court
· Organize and maintain case files and calendars; track deadlines and schedule hearings, depositions, and meetings
· Assist with discovery, document production, and exhibit preparation
· Communicate with clients, court staff, opposing counsel, and vendors
· Handle administrative tasks such as drafting routine correspondence, scanning, copying, and processing expenses/time entries
Preferred qualifications include:
· 2 years of experience as a legal assistant or in a litigation support role
· Knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Clio and document/e-filing systems
· Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
· Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
This is a full-time, in-person position in our Rye, New York office.
