We’re looking for an energetic, organized, and relationship-driven Business Development & Account Manager to join our High Point team.
Position Summary
This role combines business development, account management, showroom operations, merchandising, and product coordination. The ideal candidate enjoys building customer relationships, growing new business, and contributing to all aspects of our showroom and sales efforts. The ideal candidate has great communication skills to talk with nation-wide team while aiding the High Point team with any and all tasks.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business throughout North Carolina and the East Coast.
- Manage and grow relationships with furniture manufacturers, fabric distributors, jobbers, retailers, and design customers.
- Represent Dorell Fabrics in our High Point showroom and provide outstanding customer service.
- Assist with showroom setup and merchandising for the four annual High Point Furniture Markets.
- Coordinate with our Dallas Product Development team on customer needs and new collections.
- Help grow our outdoor fabric business and other strategic product categories.
- Maintain customer follow-up, quotes, and sales activity.
- Be a team player and contribute wherever needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in furniture, textiles, fabrics, home furnishings, or a related industry preferred.
- Business development or account management experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Positive attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel throughout North Carolina and the East Coast.
- Merchandising experience and knowledge of upholstery or outdoor fabrics are a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
