ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Prepare, process, copy, generate, transmit, and maintain various case files and documents.
- Ensure all files and client information are handled with strict confidentiality and security.
- Maintain records, prepare court orders, verify information, and resolve moderately complex issues as needed.
- Draft and maintain correspondence, reports, and other written materials.
- Schedule and manage attorney calendars, including client meetings and court-related appointments.
- Provide clerical support to co-workers as needed to support overall office operations.
- Operate computers, case-management systems, and standard office software.
- Perform general office functions such as typing, data entry, filing, scanning, faxing, emailing, and related tasks.
- Assist clients with completing applications and required paperwork.
- Review, process, and distribute incoming mail daily.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for a high number of clients.
- Assist with preparing files for archiving and long-term storage.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED supplemented by education in a closely related field.
Requires at least three (3) years of relevant administrative, clerical, or office experience. Previous legal or administrative experience is helpful but not required.
