What are the responsibilities and job description for the Per Diem/PRN Phlebotomist for Home Visits position at Doral Health & Wellness?

Our innovative medical facility is dedicated to the health and well-being of our patients, and we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our team on a PRN/per diem basis.
Compensation (Per Visit):
- Standard blood draw - $30.00
- Urine sample collection - $5.00
- Retinal imaging or screening - $15.00
- Sample pick-up for colorectal screening - $10.00
- Bone scan for Osteoporosis - $25
- No Show - $10
Responsibilities:
- Perform and record blood testing results in patients’ homes, including height and weight.
- Conduct blood testing, including finger stick and/or venipuncture blood draws.
- For candidates with proven venipuncture experience, perform draws in a fast-paced environment during screening events as needed.
- Prepare specimens for storage or additional processing.
- Maintain accurate logs and records for all laboratory transactions in accordance with department and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
- Experience processing samples.
- Certification from a recognized national agency (AMT, ASCP, or NCCT preferred).
- Proven track record of exceptional customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
- Must have a vehicle to travel to patients' homes.
- Able to pass a standard background check.
