Doraku Sushi Kapolei is seeking an energetic and reliable Food Runner to join our front-of-house team. The Food Runner helps ensure timely and accurate food service by delivering dishes from the kitchen to guests and supporting smooth communication between the kitchen and dining room.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food promptly and accurately to the correct tables
- Ensure completed orders are accurate and ready for service before delivering them to guests
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff regarding orders, special requests, and service needs
- Assist with clearing and resetting tables as needed
- Keep food running and service areas clean, organized, and stocked
- Handle dishes, utensils, and other service items safely and efficiently
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and company standards
- Support the front-of-house team during busy service periods
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to safely carry trays, dishes, and restaurant supplies
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
