What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Wash Bailer 2nd Shift position at DORADA POULTRY?
POSITION PURPOSE
The primary purpose of the Truck Wash is to provide support to the Operations team under the direction of the Production Supervisor. Meeting customer’s cleanliness expectations for efficiency and food safety on outgoing trucks.
Qualifications:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wash backhaul trailer interiors to meet customer expectations for food safety requirements. Complete washouts in a timely manner to increase efficiency and lower turnaround time.
- Maintain and organize the baler room and collect and baler recyclables such as cardboard and plastic.
- Be punctual and adhere to all safety policies, general manufacturing policies, and food safety guidelines. Must be able to complete assigned tasks in a safe and timely fashion.
- Must be able to do tasks without constant supervision and assist where needed on special projects.

Good communication skills and the ability to multitask. Also, experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as stated above.

- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours in a day.
- Able to lift, bend, pull and push.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to move hoses or other supplies used in the work
- Must be comfortable working in a cold environment.
- May be required to go into the freezer periodically (-10 degrees). Appropriate freezer clothing will be provided.
