The FSQS Superintendent is responsible for leading and managing the Food Safety and Quality Systems team to ensure strong communication, consistent processes, and high standards in food safety and product quality. This role works closely with plant leadership to strengthen quality systems, support operations, and position the company as an industry leader.Key responsibilities include overseeing daily FSQS operations, staffing and team development, performance management, audit participation, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP, SSOP). The role also manages product holds, supports investigations, ensures accurate reporting, and maintains proper inventory and departmental resources.This position requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to step into multiple FSQS roles when needed, while driving continuous improvement in food safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food or related field, 5 years of food safety/quality experience, HACCP knowledge/certification, and strong understanding of production processes and regulatory requirements.apply now!
