WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking full-time, enthusiastic, talented, self-motivated, and reliable Maintenance Technicians who are curious and eager to learn new things to join the maintenance team at the Oakland Airport Connector System.
After significant training and assessment, and applying prior mechanical experience and aptitude, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of our unique cable driven train system and fixed facility systems by installing, maintaining and troubleshooting various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.

One of DCC’s several O&M contracts in the US is with the Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) in Oakland, California. In Oakland, we have a 20-year operations and maintenance agreement with BART to operate and maintain the Oakland Airport Connector (OAC) System which connects BART to the Oakland Airport. We have provided reliable passenger service to more than 2 million people since the start of operations.

Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs on all electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic components in compliance with the maintenance schedules, training and/or prescribed safety procedures.
- Work with verbal, written or electronic instructions performing maintenance, operations, adjustments, diagnostics and repairs of various electro-mechanical equipment and components.
- Support the daily upkeep of the system and maintenance facilities.
- Respond to maintenance and disturbances and emergencies in compliance with training and/or prescribed procedures.
- Accurately update electronic maintenance logs
- Follow all Company-issued safety and maintenance procedures and directives to ensure that all preventative and corrective maintenance are performed in compliance with manufacturers’ specifications and applicable industry standards.
- Document all activities regarding work performed on the systems.
- Complete documentation in prescribed format and in a timely manner.
- Complete designated trainings and assessments in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with applicable mechanical or electrical work. This includes fixed facilities, ropeway maintenance, industrial mechanical work, industrial automation, transit system maintenance work, electrical installation or maintenance work.
- Certification in the Electrical Trade, Millwright Trade or Aircraft Maintenance Trade or similar a plus.
- Experience with and working knowledge of using and following O&M Manuals, including reading and understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with and working knowledge of methods and techniques of field measuring and testing

Pay: $34.51 - $39.70 per hour
