Your Responsibilities
- Perform advanced or expert-level ski lift assembly, steel erection, and mechanical installation.
- Lead or assist with rigging operations, crane activities, and alignment requiring accuracy and precision.
- Execute civil and structural tasks, including demolition, excavation, formwork, rebar placement, and concrete work.
- Climb towers and elevated structures (up to 80 ft) using approved fall protection; install tower heads, platforms, and components.
- Oversee or support crane lifts, load rigging, and mechanical system setup with high technical competency.
- Read, interpret, and validate construction drawings, layout plans, and technical specifications.
- Independently determine methods and procedures for new assignments (Level IV).
- Coordinate site logistics, material needs, equipment staging, and task sequencing.
- Maintain daily logs, track equipment use and support overall workflow efficiency.
- Enforce safety protocols and promote best practices across the jobsite.
- Mentor junior and mid-level team members; Level IV may act as an informal leader for larger crews.
- Provide technical problem-solving and subject matter expertise on complex assignments.
- Work extended hours during peak season (60 hours/week).
- Perform duties outdoors in variable mountain weather and rugged terrain.
Rigger
- 3--5 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of construction methods, rigging practices, and trade processes.
- Strong ability to work across multiple disciplines with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in blueprint reading, layout interpretation, and mechanical alignment.
- Demonstrates strong accuracy, precision, and independent problem-solving.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certifications preferred to strongly preferred.
- 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent advanced training/certifications.
- Expert-level rigging and construction knowledge; recognized as a subject matter expert.
- Capable of solving the most complex assignm
- Provides leadership, guidance, and technical oversight to crews.
- Operates independently with high accountability and decision-making authority.
- OSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain before start date).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work safely in rugged mountain terrain.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to remote job sites.
- Experience with cranes, telehandlers, and heavy equipment.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Familiarity with ski lift systems or alpine construction environments.
- Experience in site coordination, equipment staging, or team leadership.
- Knowledge of job tracking or project management tools.
