Job Summary
We are hiring a Software Development Intern to work directly with our Head of Engineering on meaningful product initiatives. This is a hands-on internship, not a sandbox experience — you will contribute to real production features used by actual customers.
The intern will begin by helping document our technology for patent submissions, then contribute to active development across our ERP platform, mobile app, and internal tools, including customer-facing production work.
Responsibilities
- Assist in documenting code and technology for patent submissions.
- Contribute to active development tasks in Crafted ERP, Crafted Mobile, and internal AI projects.
- Participate in code reviews, learn internal engineering standards, and maintain quality documentation.
- Gradually take ownership of production tasks and potentially work on customer-facing features.
- Collaborate with engineers across platforms and projects.
- Ask questions, learn quickly, and take initiative to solve problems.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Academic or project experience building software applications.
- Experience working in team-based development environments (school projects, hackathons, open source, etc.).
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (JavaScript preferred).
- Basic understanding of databases, data structures, and APIs.
- Understanding of version control (Git).
- Coachable, intellectually curious, and reliable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in long-term growth with the company.
Good-to-Haves:
- Experience with AI-driven development (personal or school projects).
- Familiarity with software architecture concepts.
- Exposure to customer-facing production systems.
