Doors Plus Docks LLC, a Florida-based leader in the installation and service of overhead doors, high-speed doors, and loading dock equipment, is currently hiring an Experienced Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for a reliable professional with strong mechanical skills ready to take on daily field challenges while delivering outstanding service to our clients.
Main Duties
- Handle installation, servicing, and repair of a wide range of commercial doors, dock systems, and related hardware.
- Detect and fix technical issues including broken springs, damaged operators, misaligned tracks, hinges, locks, or electrical malfunctions.
- Install and adjust hardware such as closers, panic devices, sensors, and access control components.
- Document each service call with detailed notes, photos, and recommendations.
- Training and support to expand your knowledge on industrial doors, dock levelers, and automatic systems.

- 4 years of experience in the commercial/industrial door or dock service field And AAADM certification is a plus
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in different field conditions.
- Team player with solid communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Welding skills
- Full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30AM – 5:00 PM.
- Occasional overtime or emergency service availability may be needed.
- Employment contingent on background check
Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
