What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Service Representative - Admitting/ER/UC - Casual Call position at Door County Medical Center?
Fast-paced environment that works closely with the public and clinical teams to ensure accurate registration and care of patients. Collects insurance, and demographic information, and assist patients in wayfinding.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
Experience: Previous experience in patient registration and/or healthcare reception preferred.
Shift: Working Casual Call, meaning you work as needed including Day's, PM's and Night's, rotating weekends, and holidays. This position will primarily work in the Emergency Room, Urgent Care and Outpatient Registration areas. The Casual Call premium is a 10% differential of base wage for hours worked.
There is a shift differential of 10% for PM shifts and 17% for Night shifts.
Experience
Preferred- Previous experience in patient registration and/or healthcare reception
Education
Required- High School or better
