What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse /Night's- Medical Surgical Unit - Full Time & Part Time position at Door County Medical Center?
The Licensed Practical Nurse performs specific, supportive nursing services, patient care, and assists nursing personnel under the direct supervision of the registered nurse. Must be self-efficient in dealing with decision-making. Must be able to respond appropriately to negative feedback.
Education Required: Current State of Wisconsin Licensure as a Practical Nurse
Credential/Licensure Required: Is currently licensed or able to become licensed to practice as an LPN in Wisconsin; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Shift: Primarily night shifts, with rotating weekends and holidays. Shifts are: 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. There is a PM shift differential of 10% and a Night differential of 17%.
