The Health & Wellness Coordinator will follow state and federal guidelines to promote health & wellness to all employees while striving to prevent work-related injuries/illnesses. He/she will also operate & manage the partnered telehealth program within the company.
Duties/Responsibilities
Inspect & monitor the facility for health risks; implement resolutions & follow up for any such risks; management of ESE Telehealth; provide first aid to employees; provide medical education, resources & monitor non-invasive disease processes (such as blood pressure.); introduce & promote wellness programs; assist with access & appropriate use of healthcare; oversee all facility AED's and first aid kits including monthly inspections & replacements as needed; schedule routine inspections of the facility in preparation of planned & unplanned regulatory audits or inspections; prepare & schedule training for all emergency preparedness; provide emergency response training to management including, but not limited to basic first aid, AED training & procedures to follow in the event of a medical emergency; manage workers" compensation claims.

Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Education And Experience
CNA, LVN, Paramedic, or RN experience required with current & unrestricted medical license in the State of Texas
2 years experience
OSHA certified (preferred) or willingness to obtain certification in a timely manner
Nursing Management preferred
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Walking facility for inspections
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
