Door and Fence Store is looking for motivated individuals to join our Overhead Garage Door Installation Team. We install and service both residential and commercial overhead doors throughout Central Iowa.
Whether you're just getting started in the construction trades or looking for a long-term career, we'll provide hands-on training. If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and seeing the results of your work at the end of each day, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Install residential and commercial overhead garage doors.
- Install garage door openers and related hardware.
- Work alongside experienced installers to learn the trade.
- Safely use hand and power tools.
- Provide professional, friendly service to customers.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain quality workmanship.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Is dependable and shows up ready to work.
- Enjoys working outdoors and at different job sites.
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn.
- Takes pride in producing quality work.
- Works well as part of a team.
- Can communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
Construction experience is helpful but not required. We are happy to train the right person.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry heavy materials on a regular basis.
- Work on ladders and lifts.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the day.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- Typical hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Overtime opportunities available

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
