We are seeking a motivated Assistant General Manager to join us for the grand opening of a lively Irish pub. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role requiring strong leadership and organizational skills. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Management Team to oversee daily operations, ensure guest satisfaction, and support a positive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations in a full-service restaurant environment.
- Lead and support front- and back-of-house staff during busy shifts.
- Manage scheduling, shift coverage, and staff development.
- Oversee POS operations, cash handling, and reporting.
- Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management both verbally and in writing.
- Uphold policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of full-service restaurant management experience. Including a bar environment.
- Strong people management and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with Toast POS system.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven ability to manage scheduling and maintain organized systems.
- Flexible schedule – 40 hours per week including nights and weekends.
- High level of energy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
