Production Welder — Night Shift
At Doonan Specialized Trailer, we've been manufacturing heavy-haul trailers in Great Bend, Kansas since 1974. Every trailer that leaves our 72,000 sq ft facility is welded to spec, built to last, and backed by a 5-year structural warranty. We're looking for skilled Production Welders to join our night shift team.
Night Shift Hours: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
What You'll Do
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Set up, adjust, and operate MIG welding equipment
- Weld in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions
- Measure, align, and secure components using tools and fixtures
- Inspect completed welds and correct defects as needed
- Operate hand plasma cutting equipment, grinders, and fabrication tools
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred (1 year minimum)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable — solid attendance and work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
Compensation & Benefits
- Up to $24.00/hr based on experience $2.00/hr night shift differential
