Our Billing Specialist is a key component of our financial team! We are seeking a detail-oriented self-starter with a keen eye for accuracy. The Billing Specialist will have highly developed customer service, data entry, analytical, and reconciliation skills. This person provides collaborative support to the Office Manager and other administrative staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Record, track and reconcile fuel purchase loads with fuel deliveries to our customer.
- Ensure accurate cost and products are selected and billed
- Accurately submit all invoices to our customers in various software’s and applications
- Prepare and submit invoices on a regular basis according to contract terms.
- Research, explain and resolve any variances.
- Provide excellent customer service and support.
- Maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Assist in invoice review.
- Reconcile and prepare credit memos as needed.
- Balance and post invoices accurately & timely.
- Routine situations requiring investigation and/or auditing.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with accountants, customers, support personnel and management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform computations with reasonable speed and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office programs and experience using Excel
Preferred:
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience
- 1 years of billing and/or accounts receivable experience in petroleum or energy industry
- Working knowledge of various accounting software packages'
