Dooley-Pyne is seeking an Office Assistant to provide routine secretarial, reception and office support to others in the office to maintain an efficient and fast paced office environment.
Daily job tasks and responsibilities
- Deliver flyers to the post office
- Managing social media accounts
- Answer phones and transfer to appropriate staff member
- Take and distribute accurate messages
- Prepare maintenance proposals
- Process daily billing for invoicing
- Process AR/AP
- Assist in payroll
- Maintain records, office filing and storage
- Monitor and maintain office supplies
- Perform work related errands such as going to the post office and bank
- Must be able to multi-task effectively in a high-paced environment
The successful candidate will have
- Competent computer skills in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Internet skills including emails and data collection
- Telephone experience
- Strong customer service, organization, planning and tracking skills
- Great attention to detail
- Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Multi-task with ability to “change gears” frequently
- Previous office experience (Required)
- Knowledge of Payroll and Human Resource a plus
- Experience with social media tools and platforms such as Facebook
Work hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
