Responsibilities

- Support children’s individual needs by implementing developmental and behavioral guidance techniques.
- Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, behaviors, and daily experiences.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond promptly to emergencies.
- Collaborate with team members to create inclusive activities tailored to children with diverse abilities and needs.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages.
- Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education is a plus.
- Strong child supervision skills combined with excellent classroom management abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Demonstrated understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare.
